Every input, with its lag
Every figure on this site traces to a row here. The lag column is the time between something happening and anyone outside being able to see it. Sorted fastest first, the pattern is unmistakable: an exchange settlement lands the next day, a UN trade figure takes three months, and FAO production data arrives more than a year late. That gap is what the field panel occupies.

Two cautions
PortWatch tonnage is all cargo, not cocoa. Abidjan throughput moving tells you about Abidjan, not about cocoa specifically.
Indonesian production is on a different basis. The official agency reported 641,700 tonnes for 2023; trade estimates of exportable beans are a fraction of that, because one counts wet farm weight and the other fermented and dried. We leave the tonnage blank rather than put an incomparable number beside an ICCO balance.
